Vista keeps re-booting

I did a non-critical Intel video driver update on my HP running Vista and
since then it keeps crashing, re-booting windows. It will start up, get to
the point that it looks almost stable, then it will error saying that Windows
Explorer needs to restart, and goes through this over and over until it dies.
Has anyone else had this problem and how do I fix it?

Try booting into Safe Mode, the run System Restore (All Programs >
Accessories > System Tools) and restore to an earlier point before the
problem started happening. Sounds like a buggy driver. Have you contacted HP
support about the issue? Also, check your Problem Reports and Solutions for
any logged error reports that might be of use in helping diagnose the
problem.

Roll back the driver for the video card to it's previous version.
