vista is not seeing ram over 2gb

3gb ram
512gb video ram
160 gb sata hard drive
vista premium

I have upgraded from 1.5 bg ram to 3 gb and it only see's 2, what do I need
to do to get the use of it all

Vista 32 will use 3gb, vista 64 for more....

I have a Asus k8n that can read up to 3gb and I am using 64bit, but it only
shows 2047 in both my system/bios and windows

You need to enable memory re-mapping in your BIOS.
