The DoD is about the absolute worst example of decision making, no
matter what decision they make. Their decisions are rarely based on
logic, reason, or least often of all, product quality and performance.

Now, the fact that many major corporations have shunned Vista, that's
significant. The fact that MS is in the process of killing off Vista
and the Vista name as quickly as possible, that's significant.

yeah read more about it here:

Who gives a RATS ASS if Vista is being used by the Government? Who also
gives a RATS ASS if Ubuntu is being used? The important thing is if YOU use
it and like it then that is all that matters.

Pounding your chest about who uses Vista and who doesn't makes you look like
an idiot. BFD.

No one cares what you are talking about or thinking. The fact remains
that Vista is being used no matter how much you roll over in the dirt
about it.

Oh look, he's got a new sock.
No one cares what you are talking about or thinking.

Actually they do care. In fact, I'm paid for my opinions and
consultation. But go on and keep thinking that your desktop experience
playing games qualifies you in the field.

Only because MS forced it on the public by strong-arming the computer
vendors to give up on selling XP.

But again, go on living in your fantasy world. Real world facts tell
the truth.

This is your take on things which really means nothing in the long-run,
as you don't control anything.

Well XP's life span is coming to an end. They can hold on to XP as long
as they want, just like the did with Win 9'x. But XP life-cycle is
coming to an end.

The only ones living in a dream world is you and Alias. Vista is not
going away, no matter how much you roll over in the dirt and beg for it.

Pardon? Vista is going away very soon. Do you live in a cave?

Meanwhile, you can be sure there will be no clamor of "please let us
buy Vista instead of Win 7" as there was with XP and Vista. No one
wants Vista and MS just wants the nightmare to go away.

It's the same cave you live in called Earth.

You're dumber than a brick, and that is more than I thought you were.
