On my Windows XP PC, when I remove my thumb drive, the message comes up in a
bubble, requiring no action. In Vista, it comes up in a dialog box with an
"OK" button that requires clicking or hitting Enter.

How do I get it in a bubble in Vista??

Thanks,

It depends on what else can be called a plug in, like a camera etc'. If
either XP or Vista want to give a choice it open a dialog box, if only one
removal is possible they open what you term a bubble but is pop-up.

I'm not sure I understand, but thanks.

It's the same USB thumb drive on both XP and Vista. XP gives the pop-up,
Vista only gives the dialog.

Oh well, it can be lived with. Just a slight annoyance.

Thanks.
