Vista Home - Video/Nvidia driver issue?

A

Andrew

So every time I install a video driver the text on screen is very very bad -
basically you can't read it but the icons look fine - just the bad text.
Once I uninstall any video driver everything looks great but of course Media
Center won't work.

I've tried every Vista driver for Nvidia and once I install it I get back
the bad text again - uninstall and the ugly distored desktop again. I've
also tried various desktop settings and it just doesn't fix it.

Has anyone experienced this issue and do you have a recommended fix?

Two things you can try.
1...see if you can get better by changing the setting in Control
Panel_Personalization_Window Color and Appearance_Open Classic
appearance..._Effects_select Clear Type in the button

2.In the Nvidia Control Panel....select different scaling in the Display
settings.

I have a HP-laptop and although i had no problem installing the Vista one it
was proposed again by HP and than again Vista and so on.
HP recommended me to take only the one of HP and to ignore the of MS.

This just for information... success
