Vista Home Premium SP1+IE7 - Downloads pause at 99%?

Hi,

I have a new laptop with Vista Home Premium SP1, and IE7. I notice that
when I download files with IE, the downloads go pretty fast, but it
pauses at 99% for a very long time, before the "Cancel" button changes
to "Close". I understand that it's probably copying the downloaded file
from temporary storage to the final location, but it seems to take
longer than "normal". Is this a known problem with Vista+IE7? Is there
a fix for this?

Thanks,
Jim

I would say the the file is being checked for validity, because the file
could be garbled/damaged during the download, since it's coming to you over
the wire via TCP, and Vista is looking to see if the file could be a
possible threat.
