Hello all,

I had already uninstalled Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 Basic DVD Edition
along
with Acronis Disk Director Suite. Then, while I was uninstalling Acronis
Disk Director Server v10 the uninstaller needed to reboot. Upon reboot
Vista
said it was unable to complete the reboot process then said it needed to
check some files. Vista then said it needed to do a system restore which
I
allowed it to do.

Vista restarted ok but the programs I had uninstalled earlier have
reappeared in the list of installed programs. Each time Vista starts up
Roxio Easy Media Creator gives me the following two error messages:

Unable to find a certificate file.

There was a problem authenticating your version. Please make sure
your system is set to the current date.

If I try to reinstall Roxio I get the message above. If I try to
uninstall
Roxio I get the same message above. If I try to just delete the Roxio
folder
I still get the message above. Currently, I can't do a dam thing about
Roxio
so I'm stuck. Same thing with the other programs that were once
uninstalled
but have now reappeared in the list of installed programs.

So, do any Vista experts have a solution to this blunder.

Perfect solution: Ubuntu

What's the matter, you getting pissed off I'm too much for you to
handle? Seems like it. That is a fact all fanboys learn sooner or
later. My advice, learn it now or I'll just go on kicking your dumb
ass.

That's the trouble with you being crazy.. you actually believe your own
cr@p.

Jupiter,

Thanks for the heads up about the other person that also posts here as
Alias. Yes indeed I will change my handle to something different right away.
Sorry to all those concerned about the confusion. Maybe I was premature in
blaming Vista for what happened, sorry if I offended anyone. I think if I
install the Vista updates (haven't done that yet) these type of things won't
happen. Again, thanks to everyone for your support.

You didn't offend anyone. You inadvertently picked a handle that is in use
by another person. No harm in that.
