Dr. Rik

I have been using Vista for about a year and have reinstalled it once. The
problem I keep having is during the intial boot or initial reset. The first
time through thr progress bar completes to about 95% and then hangs. I reset
the computer and the second time through it will boot correctly. I have no
further incidents until I shut it down or reset It repeats the problem every
time.

Use msconfig to disable things at startup. Disable one thing at a time,
reboot, and eventually you should find your culprit.

Great to see you here Kurttrail. I hope you plan to hang around.

Or boot into safe mode and you will see which .dll or .exe is hanging?
