Hi All,
Just upgraded from XP Pro to Vista Ultimate. In XP you had 'my network
places' where you could add FTP sites that would then appear in and be
accessed easily in explorer. I cannot find how to do this in Vista.

I can open the FTP site in Internet Explorer and then choose click
Page, and then click ‘Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer’ to have it
temporarily appear in explorer but it's gone as soon as the session in
closed.

Is there a way to have FTP sites permanently appear in explorer in
Vista?

Thanks

Mick

There is. One way...
From Explorer, click TOOLS|MAP NETWORK DRIVE

Note the bottom link, in blue. Click it.

Once this is created where do you find it to access it again?
