Vista Freezes when setting up TV

Hello group,

After moving house and of course taking my XP based Media Center with me, I
am now Media Center-less as the system decided it didn't want to work in my
new home (long story!). I therefore decided to take the plunge and builda new
system based on Vista Home Premium and use the new Media Center as I am a
great fan!

Everything installs fine and the whole system works without a hitch, righ up
until the point where I want to setup my TV (for me the most important
feature of Media Center, and yes, I skipped this when I first opened Media
Center). This just constantly freezes (Tasks > TV). I have updated the
motherboard BIOS, the TV Tuner card drivers, the video card drivers and just
about everything else I could think of (I even switched my version of Vista
Premium from 64 bit to 32 bit). My system config is as follows: -

Vista Home Premium 32bit (I did originally have the 64bit version but trying
to get drivers for this is like trying to fry a snowball!)
ASUS Motherboard MN32N Workstation Professional (AM2 socket)
AMD 64 Dual Core 5600+
Hauppage PVR 500MCE TV Tuner (no 64 bit drivers for this yet, hence one of
the reasons for downgrading to the 32bit version)
nVidia 8800 GTS video card (Point of View manufacturer)
5 x 320Gb SATA drives in RAID5 config (this is nice!)
DVD ReWriter (SATA)
4Gb DDR SDRAM
Zalman case (HD160XT)

ANY help would be of great appreciation!

Regards

Lee
