Vista event 4634 4624

I have a Vista Home Premium and two XP Pro computers networked via a
Dlink router.

About every 32 minutes, one of the XP boxes does an anonymous logon
and logoff to the Vista computer. The event says it is NTLMSSP. The
strange thing is, only one of the XP computers is doing this although,
as far as I can tell, they are both set up the same. Neither of the
XP computers have the NT LM Security Support Provider service running.

These events get rather large in number and, as they don't indicate
anything harmful, I was wondering if there is a method to keep these
events from happening and showing up on the Vista event log. Even
setting the time to hours instead of 32 minutes would be a help.

Have you checked scheduled tasks on the machine that is running the
service?

Sure have. I turned off all tasks just to be sure. I was getting the
same type of logins every 12 minutes before but I discovered that the
'computer browser' service was doing that so I turned it off. Now it
is only every half hour or so.

I am convinced, sort of, that it is some networking thingy but I am at
a loss as to what it may be.
