Vista doesnt start, flashes blue screen

So Windows Vista doesnt start on my computer. It was on the final
installation step (Completing Installation). It rebooted and didnt start. I
get to the Vista loading page but only for a very short time and the loading
bar thing with the thing inside going across the screen doesnt show. The blue
screen flashes. Now the screen is black. I turn off the computer, insert the
installation disc and then go to the startup repair. It has been running for
11 hours now. Should I cancel the repair or not. I am in the HP Express
Upgrade program, upgrading from XP MCE. My PC is a HP Pavilion a1654n with
an additional identical 19 inch screen. What should I do?

Ok, I got the blue screen.

sptd.sys
The driver mistakenly marked a part of the image pagable instead of
nonpagable.
The techinical information is
***STOP: 0x000000D3.(0x81787560, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x818767B5)
sptd.sys

It seems to be related to having Demon Tools installed through the upgrade.
Any way to fix this other than a clean install? I could use the CMD or
something.. I cancelled the repair startup which had not done anything.
