Vista decal logo sticker?

So, I upgraded my laptop to Windows Vista. But where is the Windows Vista
Logo decal sticker? Usually when you buy an ATI video card or nvidea, they
give you the decal sticker so you can put in your computer case. How coe
microsft does not give you the Vista sticker with the software?? And, where
can I buy the sticker? I looked all over, ebay etc... and no one is selling
it. I know microsft makes them, because all new laptop, desktops have the
sticker. So, where can I purchase the Vista logo??? Thanks.

Give it a couple of weeks and you'll be spoilt for choice :)

Microsoft has never provided stickers with any retail copies of Windows,
only OEM copies come with stickers and those are only the OEM COA stickers
with the key that you find on the PC.

The only place I've seen those kinds of stickers are meetings like the Vista
Launch, etc. and some others. Any meeting with a MSFT store would have some
I'm sure.

back in 2001 I ordered a Preview RC of Windows XP Pro for a small price and
the package contained the CD in nice hardplastic-cover, the Key, a letter
from the Windows team assuring me I was one of the first persons to see the
new OS, plus a transparent "eXPerience"-logo sticker for my PC.

Later when I bought XP Home Retail at an insane price there was none in the
box.

It comes with the monitor. It has a blue background and white letters. It
shows up quite often if you use the computer a lot and then you get to
restart it to familiarize yourself with the boot process again and again and
again.

Who makes the "Designed for Windows XP" stickers? The Keebler Elves?

Those stickers are intended for computers designed for Windows Vista.
Since your computer does not have the sticker, it is not designed for Vista
through Microsoft.
