So I have Vista Premium and it will crash every now and then when the
computer either comes back from sleeping or from the screen saver. Any help?

Can you explain how it crashes?

You mean a blue screen? and if so, what message does the blue screen give?

Well when you come back to the computer and move the mouse the screen
freezes. There is no blue screen except after you force turnoff. The screen
every other day right after it comes out of sleep or saver is frozen with a
colorful swirl (no distinct picture) and you can't get it out of it except by
turning the comp of by holding the power button.

Try updating your graphics drivers to the latest version avaliable from
the manufacturer's website.

Hi Group,

Sorry to bump this thread, but i have been having the same trouble too
with vista ultimate.
I have tried everything i could, but nothing woked.

then i did thid this and so far 4 hours and no lock ups.

Change the power, go to control panel and choose power option, then
change it from balanced to high performace, i also just for good
measure,go to personalize and change the theme, changed from the aero
deck to another one, and changed the ram around on the mobo.

Have now put aero back on and all ok, so i hopefully have cracked the
freezes i was getting about 60 to 75 a day!!!!!!!!

Hope that this helps someone, once again sorry for the bump
