Vista connectivity with Nikon D200 and WT-3a transmitter

I am using widows XP Pro with a Nikon D200 amd WT-3a. I use a router to FTP
files from the camera to XPS M1210. I use the router because ad hoc
connectivity
is not reliable even with XP Pro. Will Vista ad hoc connectivity be
significantly better? Has anyone tried this yet with the trial Vista
editions? At weddings I transmit to the 1210 which shows the images via a
projector. Is there a slide show in Vista that will automatically update as
files are transmitted to the folder being viewed?

Are there ant wt-3a users out there?
