Vista compatibility with Word 2003

I cannot open Word 2003 documents on my laptop running Vista (X86). I think I
need to download a compatibility update. If this is the case, please point me
to the correct location on microsoft.com. Thanks, Simon

Vista has nothing to do with whether or not you can open Word documents. Do
you have Word installed on the laptop? That is what you will need to be
able to open Word documents.
