ME and Vista will be like ME and XP. Start by putting them in the same
workgroup. Then tweak the browser infrastructure.

Then the normal Vista and Windows Networking issues.

Hi Chuck,

Thank you for your info. I went through the whole process, still have
problem.

My XP and windowMe work fine, but only the Vista has the problem. I chang my
network setting according to your suggestion, no luck. Is the group name case
senstive? In my WindowMe always show me Mshome, but in vista always upcase
MSHOME no matter how I change the case.

Thanks again.

OK, well Windows Networking is pretty simple when it works right off the bat
(and it does for a few folks here), but they don't ever get to appreciate the
intricacies involved. You will, because you have to fix the problems. First,
some light reading.

My XP / Vista article is a brief version of my troubleshooting articles.

Next, look at "browstat status" (XP and Vista only), and "ipconfig /all" (each
computer), and diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked articles,
and follow instructions precisely (download browstat!):
