Vista Business Volume License

I have a dual boot w/XP and Vista Business and it was working, but I could
not activate it because DNS problems, was able to fix that, but did not go
back right away and activate my Vista copy. 30 day went by and now it won't
activate. But hey I am on the internet with my network id?!?!! Why won't it
go into windows so I can activate it? I keep getting the code 0x8004FE33 (no
internet connection). hmmm...

If it is a volume licensed version - what kind of VL key have you got for
it - a KMS or MAK key ?
If in doubt go ask your admin who provided you the key as they work in
completely different ways.
and read
http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/resources/vol/ActivationFAQ/default.mspx
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb892849.aspx
to understand the new activation for Vista VL products.

Go into Vista's device Manager, and update the Network Adaptor drivers to get
the NET going.

@ Mick Murphy

I think you are in a bit hurry in ans the ?. Read him carefully he is not
able to logon to windows he is getting some kind of activation error. He
wrote " 30 day went by and now it won't

Any other way please let me know.

We have a Vista Business volume license using the MAK key and in such cases
all we have to do is click on Change Product Key and re-enter the MAK key and
Vista has always activated immediately. Is the KMS key system that different?

MAKs have a limited number of activations (usually 10 - 15) and activation
is via Microsoft.

KMS (Key Management Service) requires a Vista, XP or Servers 2003/2008 to
function as activation manager servers. Vista (or Windows Server 2008)
contacts the KMS server for activation - the OS must contact the KMS server
every 180 days for reactivation.
