Vista Beta 2 Won't Let Me Logon

After what seems to be a successful upgrade from XP Pro to Vista Beta 2 when
logging on the screen shows building desktop then immediately closes desktop
and shuts down no matter which user acct. is used. Please help!!!!

I have tries SM under both Administrator and User accts. It does the same
thing. Also, the only place I can find the Administrator User is in Safe
Mode?? ANy other ideas??

As the issue occured after vista installation, best option would be to
reinstall Vista.

+1 on this login issue. I had no problem until I resized my Vista partition.
BUMP for better answers.

Bump from me to. Exact same problem, resized my Vista partition and now I'm

Same problem here, resized partition and now it just flashes a black screen a
few times and kicks me back to the logon screen.

Add another one to the login problem! I didn't resize my partition but only
upgraded my Windows XP Pro SP2. It keeps saying the following "preparing
your desktop, closing your desktop" before going back to the login screen.
Safe mode is the same. Someone help! Thanks.

same deal here. and i dont have the disk anymore to reinstall. did anybody
find a fix for this. or at least know why this is happening.

Same for me but i didn't rezise and partion I formated it with command propmt
and now it doesn't work!
