Beta Evaluation period expired problem

Hi,

My copy of vista keeps shutting itself down saying that the evaluation
period has expired. I thought it was good until 1 Feb 2007? It is Beta 2
public release. At the same time, windows update has stopped working
(presumably for the same reason). Anyone have any ideas why?

As an aside, Office 2007 public beta has the same issue, comes up at the
beginning that beta has expired, but carries on working after i click on the
window that tells me to uninstall it.

any help very gratefully accepted as this seems to happen about every 2 hours.

It seems that either your system clock is incorrect, or perhaps you have not
activated the product. Beyond that I have no suggestion.

I had a simular issue, but it was because I didn't activate the software. I
reinstalled Vista and activated it this time.

VISTA Beta 2 works 14 days without activation. After this time you will have
this problem. To avoid this, make sure that you activate your installation
over the Internet. An activated copy of VISTA BETA 2 works until 1 Feb 2007
