Vista & Backward Compatability

Just today I thought I would go back in time for nostalgia and of course
interest sake and install and use Microsoft Dogs.. Running Vista SP 1.... It
wouldn't load up at all and gave me the following error (man microsoft had
some bad grammar on this one lol)

"The file C:\Windows\System32\wing32.dll open, which dogs needs to modify.
Please close all other open programs or restart windows."

So I did the restart as suggested.. I searched for wing32.dll which doesn't
appear to be on Vista at all... So I threw caution to the wind and copied the
file from the cd to the system 32 folder.. When I did the last action nothing
happened at all with the program. No errors.. Just a quick flash and that's
it.

I also tried changing the compatability to 95 and 98...
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Did you try running the install .exe "as administrator"?
Right-click on the install program, and select "Run as administrator"
