Hi,

My child got a new laptop from Santa with Vista installed. I have an old
version of Office 2003 I would like to install as Santa did not bring Office
for Vista. Is that version compatable?

Yes. You may need to install it under XP compatibility mode and as
Administrator. I run Office 2003 on my Vista laptop just fine.

You don't need to install it under XP Compatibility mode, but you might need
to open the disk, right click the Setup.exe icon for Office 2003 and click
'Run as Administrator'.
