Vista and HP

Have Vista and a HP 2410xi photosmart printer (4 in 1). I cannot get the
scanner portion of the printer to scan, all other portions work. Printer
says that "scan options have not been set" Have visited both HP and
Microsoft sites and cannot find answer.

You are better off if you contact HP Customer Care with this issue. Here's a

I bought an hp with vista on it. My hp series 1310 psc wouldn't work on it,
only the printer. Contacted hp with their chat dept. they could not help me.
Went to Wal-mart and their service advisor said that hp doesn't have the
drivers for it. Bought a new lex-mart series 5400 psc which is compatible to
vista gor $99.00. This lexmart is much easier to run than hp.
