vista and compatible mp3 players

I have a samsung z5 mp3 player, I have heard vista has had problems with
some mp3 player brands not being compatible. Can anyone help before I upload
vista home premium on my laptop. Thanks...

I did not have much luck with my Dell DJ 20 gig. I just use my laptop to
manage but I don't use it much so it is not a big deal for me.
