vista acting wierd!?

hi im a new user to vista, i just bought a new hp laptop, and it came on
there, but sometimes the task bar at the bottom of the screen, everything
will shif to left left, like it is off screen, and and wene you scrll over it
every goes back into place untill after you remove the pointer from it again,
and the ocons on my desktop all have black squares on them, help please!!

I've been having the same problem for a while on a Toshiba, any help would be
great....

I'm going crazy having the same problem. Not only the task bar issues and
black squares on the icons, also the explorer screen, once opened, goes black
or shows the icons partly and moves them around... I don't know what to do...
