Vista 32 vs Vista 64.

Possible driver issues aside, what other drawbacks are there from running
the 64 bit OS?

Does Windows 64 still run my 32 bit programs? Can I install office and
Visual Studio? What about a 32 bit version of SQL Server, or Oracle?

Will 32 bit applications run on the 64 bit environment?

Say yes and I am all over it like a cheap suit!

For the most part (at least 95%) the answer is yes.

I haven't found an app that works under Vista32, that doesn't work under
Vista 64. With the exception of my company's VPN software, which is getting
an update right now.

Office 2003 works fine for me, along with all my games.

If you aren't impacted by driver issues and have no 16-bit applications,
you shouldn't have any problem. I have the express versions of SQL
Server, 2005, the express versions of Visual this, that and the other
(if you catch my meaning), PhotoShop, a bunch of video editing software,
Flight Simulator X, Quicken 2007, MS Office 2000, etc.

Google for your software titles and Vista 64 to see if you get any hits.
