Visioneer USB 6100 won't work

I bought a new computer and it has Windows XP. This is
great however, my scanner program no longer works.
Visioneer notes that they will NOT create a driver for XP
but offers an upgrade to buy a newer scanner. I had just
as soon keep my scanner. Does anyone know a way around
this problem? The scanner worked fine in Windows 98. Is
there a patch or fix?

If Visioneer have drivers for Windows 2000 they should work with XP.
