My computer got some virus's and I could remove all except two, because the two files are C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\system.exe which is infected with the Trojan.Mitglieder.F viru
an
C:\WINDOWS\winlogon.exe which is infected with the W32. Netsky.C@mm virus

Should I delete them manually? Will it let me? Will I be able to restore the files somehow? Will my PC crash

I have Windows XP Home edition and its disk. On the disk it gives me the option to update windows. basically reinstalling it. It says it'll keep the installed programs, existing data files, and existing computer settings. What do I do

-Thank You in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ouch!
No guarantees this will work, but try running f-secure's
netsky cleaning tool available here:

http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/netsky_c.shtml

Ensure system restore is turned off on XP before running
the fix (these instructions are on the above page)

Worst case scenario, you're looking at a clean-
reinstall, which is not quitehow you imagine it,but
nothing to be afraid of if all your vital documents are
backed up on CDs.
