I am running different versions of Outlook without an
exchange server with Norton Antivirus 2003. I get a lot
of messages infected with W32.Beagle.w@mm and
W32.Swen.a@mm viruses. The antivirus is notifying me of
these viruses so I guess is catching them. They said is
a mass mailing virus. Is there a way to get rid of these
viruses and not get them in the Inbox? DAT files are the
latest. Thanks

You can use Wizard Rules to move it to a different folder or check your
virusscanner options to automatically delete messages that contain virusses.

Tips of the month:
-Backup and Restore
-Create an Office XP CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 3

The virus scan options are set to clean and/or delete the
virus which is doing it. It's unbelievable that I get
the same virus every day and is annoying for users. What
are wizard rules and if I use them, will the user still
see the virus?

Tools-> Wizard Rules and yes, the users will still see the messages unless
they configure the rule to delete it. Server based virusscanning or even at
ISP level will prevent the users from receiving the message in their inbox
