I am experiencing a problem with my Pc.
I can no longer access the display properties correctly.
I was doing an update, when the following occurred.
My desktop back ground was changed to a virus warning, a screen saver of a
blue screen crash and the windows bootup screen now are active and the
ability to turn it off is no longer in the display properties options also
the ability to change the desktop background no longer appeards in the
options but the background can be changed by selecting another picture but
you cannot tile , fullscreeen or anything with it.

any ideas ?

Have you installed an antivirus like, nod 32 or Kaspesky antivirus ?
