virus????

i was surfing and my nav popped up a window that said i
had an exploit6 virus. and access was denied, it pointed
to the browser cache folder. i cleared my browser cache
and ran a full scan but nothing showed up. norton calls
it a bloodhound exploit6. bloodhound in norton is suposed
to check for new viruses and script. i was wondering if
it just blocked some malicious incoming traffic or if i
got the virus and deleted it in the cache? anyone heard
of this?

Typically, NAV cannot remove files from the TIF while its in use. If you've closed your browser, emptied the TIF and rescanned your system with nothing found, then I'd say NAV did its job.
