my pc got a virus, that norton cannot eliminate.i made
the usual process, put pc in security mode and run anti
virus, but this time it doesnt works. it sems i have to
delete the infected files, but im afraid to delete
important files and make worst. and, how do i replace
those files?? i really dont know what to do. thank you

You did not mention the virus or the file name.
Both are necessary for an accurate answer.

However if the virus is in "System Volume Information" (System Restore
data)
Turn off/on System Restore to delete corrupted files:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Click System Restore Settings on left side.
Check "Turn off System Restore", click OK, follow prompts and reboot.
This deletes all Restore Points including corruption.
Then go back and turn on system Restore and create a Restore Point.

If it is only one file, you can delete it an restore it from the .cab files
on the CD or in c:\i386. Search in google how to do this exactly.
