virus scanning

please can anyone tell me how to get rid of a virus from
gaztec called the lorraine virus,it is a worm virus sent
to me by some spanish kids. i would also like to know
which is the best anti-virus scanner i could install on
my pc ! many thanx joan!

I personally like Norton Anti Virus.
However the most important thing is to find one you will use.
Update it weekly.
Run it at least weekly.

I would also strongly recommend Norton Anti Virus. If you use the internet a
lot or are connected to an always-on internet connection, I would recommend
instead Norton Internet Security which also includes a firewall, ad blocker,
pop-up blocker, spam blocker, personal-information protector, trojan
detector as well as Norton Antivirus. Be sure to get version 2003 if you go
for either.
