You should not this is more than likely a "spyware" and that most anti-
virus utilities do not remove "spywares." Locate, download and use
regularly the following:

AD Aware
Spybot: Search and Destory 1.4
Spyware Terminator.

This is not the place to ask questions about spyware. Please see:

Find the newsgroup for spybot or hijack this. They are very
knowledgeable.

What you have is a form of the Smitfraud malware\Trojan

The following was posted by Malke and copied below.

Do the preparatory steps here:

http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

Include scanning with David Lipman's Multi_AV and follow instructions to
do all scans in Safe Mode.

http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Multi-AV - instructions
http://pcdid.com/Multi_AV.htm - download

Then do the specific steps here:

http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Smitfraud_Trojan

When all else fails, run HijackThis and post your log in one of the
specialty forums listed at the first link above (not here, please).

Standard caveat: If the procedures look too complex - and there is no
shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a
professional computer repair shop (not your local version of
BigStoreUSA). Please be aware that not all local shops are skilled at
removing malware and even if they are, your computer may be so infested
that Windows will need to be clean-installed. Have all your data backed
up before you take the machine into a shop.

go through these cleaning steps to see or get a clear opinion on how
clean your machine is:
= Click Start >> Control Panel>>Network and Internet Connections >> Double
click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Taps:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced.
Under General Tab clear your History, Internet Files and Cookies.
Then click on Advanced tab and scroll down to under the Browsing Option:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) uncheck this box.
[ ] Disable script Debugging (internet Explorer) <= check this box
[ ] Disable Script Debugging (Other) <= check this box

Then click on Programs Tab and click Manage Add-Ons and Disable all non
Verified Add-Ons (You should Renable them later one-by-one and see the
culprit and update it or remove it.

Yes, it is perfectly OK for posters to ask questions about spyware here.
There are many regular helpers posting here who are highly skilled in
this area of computing.

The OP has gotten the correct answer and has solved his issue.

Don't panic!
Don't click on it! Reinstalling the O/S is way overkill but it will
solve the issue. Run a couple anti-malware applications such as
SpyBot and AdAware. If you still get this message alert you may need
to turn off messaging in system services. If you already have an
anti-virus program make sure it has up-to-date definitions.

Run a /thorough/ check for hijackware, including posting your hijackthis log
to an appropriate forum.

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.
