When I log on to my MSN account virus infection appears on my home page and
keeps flashing. I ran my Mircrosoft Antispyware 5 times and I still can't
get rid of it. What can I do.

Hi Talisman

If its a Virus then Microsoft Antispyware will not detect the infection, Use
a couple of Virus scanners and see if you can get a name for whats on your
system then it will make it easier to repair any damage that may of been
caused.

You went to see the wrong doctor. You want an antiVIRUS doctor, not one who
deals with spyware.

Can you describe this more clearly? Are you seeing a flashing ad stating
that you have a virus infection? Give us more precise details about what
you are seeing, and perhaps someone here will recognize the spyware
involved.

I think Engel is on the right track--look for threads here about SmitFraud
or SpySherrif--Andy Manchesta is definitely the expert here about how to get
rid of this critter.
