Well you could scan with another virus scanner and see what that thinks
about things (http://housecall.antivirus.com will take you to a good and
free online scanner).
If that doesn't help, then perhaps you could post back and tell us exactly
what your antivirus scanner is called, and what it says *exactly* (as a
minimum, the name of the suspect file and the name of the virus it says you
have would be a tremendous help).
Thanks Robert for your help. I did as you suggested and came up with no viruses on the second scan. I think the problem is in a file I installed. I am using "Freedom Anti-Virus" which I am getting free from my internet supplier. I have tried rebooting the computer without the anti-virus softwear enabled and then enabled it.
The program that is a problem is a wallpaper program I downloaded called Comet Systems
viruses on the second scan. I think the problem is in a file I installed.

Well I wouldn't call that a virus from a strictly technical , but if it is
the thing I'm thinking of then Jerry has a point, Freedom antivirus is
trying to save you a lot of bother there.
