Virus and infected files

Rocco DiPierro

Gentleman,
I need your help. I manually downloaded a free SYMANTEC
AND MACAFEE scan of my cpt. Sat night and found 5
infections and 1 WORM and virus.

1) Windows told me I had a
WIN32/WINSHOW.51712.dll.Trojan virus

2)A Virus named JS/NOCLOSE came up on SYMANTEC

3)Macafee said I had 3or 4 Java htm NO EXIT infections,
Please tell me how to remove these

Thank You
Rocco DiPierro

Follow the detailed instructions provided on the McAfee site.

Alternatively, goto www.antivirus.com and get it to look for
your specific virus. You will then find detailed removal
instructions.

Lastly, install ***and*** maintain your virus scanner up-to-date.
This is a lot easier than cleaning a machine after the event -
if, in fact, it is cleanable.

In your reply to Rocco, you did not answer the question:
1) Windows told me I had a WIN32/WINSHOW.51712.dll.Trojan virus

I have run an updated version of Norton antivirus, and downloaded the virus detector on the web site you suggested and deleted 6 trojan horse files that it detected

I have also run a spyware detection program and remove all spyware, deleted all cookies and tempory internet files

Further info pertaining to this crash
App name: iexplore.ex
App version: 6.0.2800.110
Mod Name: ifeatsl.dl
Mod Ver: 0.0.0.
Offset: 000143c

I've seen other queries pertaining to this problem in several languages

I don't know much about the workings of computers however I can follow directions
Thanks for your help
