Virus added an unwanted toolbar...

Recently my viruscatcher quarentained and removed a known trojanhorse.
Unfortunatly it installed a toolbar on IE6.
How can I remove this toolbar?

If I rightclick on the toolbar it is shown as 'frchchglrps'.
It appear as a searchtool and is highly irritating. Before it also installed
an unwanted website (searchsite) as startpage. Also very annoying.

Please help me remove this thing from my IE.

Thanks.

Download Ad-aware and Sypbot. Both are free. I am not
exactly sure how I got rid of something similar, but I ran
both Ad-aware and Spybot to get rid of all browser
highjackers. Also look in Start-Control Panel-Add Remove
Programs, and see if there is anything there that should
be removed. Finally, put frchchglrps in Yahoo Search.
Many times, you will find where people give detailed
instructions of what has to be done to get rid of specific
nasty stuff. Good luck

Also, for ad-aware, you may also have to download the most
current reference file - not sure if the full program
comes with the latest or not. Ad-aware just released a
new reference fill, and it help clean up a browser
highjacker I had.

Sorry to but in. Adaware always gives you the latest reference file if you
are downloading the program.

Not necessarily. I installed it last week on my laptop and it had a
reference file from Setpember 2003. It always helps to check with the
update feature in Ad Aware.
