Hello

I have an old printer which has given up the ghost (Canon S100)

It has to be uninstalled together with the drivers but I don't really
understand where these are installed.

In system and peripherals, the printer is no where to be seen.

There is a line for Ports (Com and LPT) but when I click on the printer
icone in Configuration Panel, and then properties, it seems to have a 'USB 1
Virtual Printer Port'

I want to uninstall it correctly.

Any ideas what to do please?

Thanks

If you had installed some software that came with your printer, then
I'd expect to have an "uninstall" function included. Failing that, I'd
expect to see something in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. If no
such software was installed, you can go to Device Manager > View > Show
Hidden Devices, and perhaps you will see your printer there, in which
case you can uninstall it (Right-click > uninstall).
