Virtual PC 2004 and Ghost

Hello,

I was wondering if there was anyway to image a virtual machine in Virtual PC
2004. I have a set of existing Ghost image files and I need to test that
configuration and rather than rebuild it from scratch it would be easier and
faster to image the virtual machine. I found a Microsoft Knowledgebase
article but it was not for Virtual PC 2004. I thought the article might work
anyway, but it did not work. The article number is 824547. I tried using
DVDs, but that didn't work either. I know I'm not the first to try or even
wonder about this for Virtual PC 2004. Any ideas or references?

Thanks

Create a 2nd Virtual Hard drive, Format to NTFS. Perform your
Ghost(ing) to the 2nd VHD. Then Network the resulting .Gho to
a "Physical" PC from the VPC machine and burn to optical media.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. In Virtual PC 2004 how do I format a Virtual Hard
Drive to NTFS? What should I use to boot into Ghost so that Ghost can see
both Virtual Hard Drives? How do I network the resulting .Gho to a
"physical" PC?

Thanks
