virtual memory

I have 128 mg ram and 20 gig hard drive
running windows xp.

it is very sluggish and is telling me virtual memory is
slow.

Any suggestions what I can do to fix this?

128mb of ram is not enough for XP. 256mb should be the minimum. Time to add
some memory.

Bluntly - get more RAM (make sure it is accurately matched to what you
have). 128 is too little for XP if you want any more than run one
simple program at a time
