Virtual Memory (Paging Files)

I have recently formated my system to Windows 2000
Professional, and yesterday when i started my system, i
had a paging file error...now nay number that i but in
will not sort this error....


Now ive got to the point when ive decided that i will
format again....but i cant drop into the 2000 Recovery
Startup from the boot loader....its says that it cant load
up the ketboard .dll file!?!

I have never encounted this error before

Please can you help

this is what i have in my 'Virtual Memory' window

Space Avalibable: 30075

Inital Size: 1250
Maximum Size:2500


Total Paging size for all drives
Minimum: 2mb (this is my problem)
Recommended: 334
Currently Allocated: 20mb (how do i change this)

Registry Size

Current registry size:22mb
Maximum Registry Size:1150

Did you modify perms on the boot volume? Pretty commonly reported
problem here. People remove the Everyone group from the root of the
boot volume thinking they are securing their machine w/o realizing that
Everyone includes the built in LocalSystem account, which need full
control rights to the root of the boot volume in order to create the
pagefile.

You don't have to add back Everyone...just the LocalSystem account.
