Virtual Memory/Paging File

I had to reinstall Windows XP to repair a problem but now
I seem to have a problem with the virtual memory. Every
time I restart the computer an error box shows up that
says "your system has no paging file or the paging file is
too small". Any help as to what I should be setting my
paging file to so that this message no longer appears and
my computer does not take a long time to reboot itself. I
am not on network and I have DSL. I have tried setting it
at the "system managed size" but that does not work.

I would appreciate any feedback.
