Virtual memory low windows attempting to add to virtual memory

I am having a virtual memory problem since I started
using DSL and loaded McAfee Internet Security. I tried
to increase the size of virtual memory myself but to no
avail. I have 65% of my disk space free on the drive,
and removed all of the McAfee programs to be able to use
the DSL. What should I do next? This problem occured
shortly after downloading and installing new updates to
Windows XP - Home Edition.

Click "Windows Key+Pause" when the "System Properties"
comes up, click, "Advanced", "Settings", "Advanced",
then "Change", look for your page file, it should be
where you have the Operating System installed, if not
where you have your O/S installed, click "Custom Size",
enter 512 into both size boxes, then click "Set".
Click "Ok" your way out, when it tells you to,
click "Reboot", let it reboot, that should take care of
it. I would recommend at least installing 512MB of RAM
into your system, that will help a lot of it. Having 1GB
of memory, I personnally don't have that problem. When I
did only have 512MB of memory, I used those settings and
only had that problem a couple times while playing "TSO",
but that was only after I was online for about 3 days
straight, in the game, without logging out or turning off
the computer, but that was because of an error with the
game. IF you still have these errors, try using
something different besides, McAfee. Personally, I only
use McAfee.com virus scan, with my cable lan, I use Zone
Alarm and Pest Patrol, and I don't have any problems with
it usually.
