I always get this error "Windows - Virtual Memory Minimum
Too Low

Your system is low on virtual memory. Windows is
increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file.
During the process, memory requests for some applications
may be denied. For more information, see Help."

it keeps doing this even when barely anything is running!
and as soon as this message appears my computer starts
going really slow.

i have Windows XP Home with barely anything on it. 256mb
ram 80gb hard drive p4 2.2gh........its a good computer
but it just started doin this and i got no idea why it is
doing this its not a virus i scanned it and got rid of
all the spyware defraged it did a chkdsk...... i cant
find anything wrong with it!

please help

thanks

Intel chipset? If you reloaded XP without first removing the Intel
Application Accelerator from Control Panel|ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS, then this
could be the cause of virtual memory errors. Remove it now, and things
should clear up.

Then go here, read up, and install the latest I.A.A. - for greatest
efficiency (though it's not mandatory).
