I have a client that just installed the windows xp service pack 2 when
they rebooted (i believe during the install process) the machine just
keeps rebooting. As it boots after the windows logo/starting up screen
I get the mouse pointer and after a bit I get an error message about not
enough virtual memory then reboots (it is not up long enough to get a
good clean read of the error message).

I have booted up in recovery mode and ran chkdsk /r which took a long
time and stated it fixed several errors.

Any Ideas on how to fix this problem?????

thanks in advance for any suggestions

I finally saw it enough to get the whole message
the error message is the following

"Not enough virtual memory or paging file quota is available to complete
the specified operation"
