HELP! Someone installed window XP at work, it was running very slow, and now
we can't log in to the system. We get to start up screen and it says not
enough virtual memory, but we can't log in to delete what ever is causing
this problem. We have tried safe mode, and safe mode of last known good
configuation. Other than reformating the hard drive--which I don't know how
to do, is there a solution?I also don't have the disc that was used to
upgrade the system, but I have a recovery/restore disc the computer
originally came with (win 98 I think) sorry for the length. ellen t

After safe-mode selection,are you entering as ADM.,or user,try ADM.
Increasing ram memory would solve youre problem, the more ram,the more
virtual-memory,try switching ram sticks.Installing another hd and setting it
to be the page file (virtual-memory),also increases v.memory, but this needs
to be configured in system properties.
