Virtual Directories

We have built a web page that runs completly on one
machine, now we need to move some components to another
machine on our network. We have tried doing this with a
virtual directory but can not seem to have the option of
selecting a folder from a network drive. Can anybody
suggest a method that would allow us to perform this task.

Your web server is propably running as windows service, which uses local
system account. That account cannot access network drives. The web service
must be configured to use an account, which has access to network. I'm no
expert on this, so cannot give more specific instructions.
