Viewsonic P815 monitor now buzzing

I've had this monitor for years and it has been fine. I just moved
yesterday and now it buzzes slightly (annoyingly) when on (not on
standby).

I moved it very carfully to avoid/minimize jostling and vibration.

1. What could have caused this change in behavior?
2. Is it dangerous or just annoying?

More importantly... anything I can do easily/cheaply to fix it? I'm not
someone who can just open up a monitor and solder things or anything
like that.
