Viewing website over different computers

Kim O'Dell

I've been working on a website:

www.delwideman.com

The problem is that this website seems to have different
formatting on another computer. I changed my resolution
to the same resolution as the other computer (800 x 600)
but things are happening over this website that aren't
happening at other computers. ie - Navigation bar goes
to bold when the mouse is on top of the hyperlinks to
other pages. On this other computer, they get smaller
instead. Also, the red title bars go across with a space
between it and the navigation bar (as it should) but on
this other computer, the title bar touches the navigation
bar as it shouldn't.

I can't see what she is seeing even with my computer set
to her setting of 800 x 600. Do you know what's
happening?

We are both using Internet Explorer, version 6. Do you
have any idea?

What's happening? Well, it could be all kinds of things. Here are some of
the things which affect how a web page displays in a browser on a given
computer:

1. Screen Resolution
2. Browser window size
3. Computer Display color resolution
4. Browser type (IE, Netscape, etc)
5. Browser preference settings
6. Browser Toolbar add-ins, Spyware, and Adware
